I have a test that's taking over my life. I've had a dream the last few nights that words are chasing me around and asking me if they're appropriate to use in formal writing. Truth: I'm a nerd. Truth: I've though of basically one thing in the last two weeks--this test. Prayer: I will pass this test and return to the land of the sane.
In other news, I joined a soccer team! My friend Kim asked me Monday to play, but since I had to study for the most ridiculously difficult test ever that night (and every other night), I had to miss that game. But I did join the team, which means I'll be playing in my first soccer game in like 2 years on Monday! I'm so excited! I'm way too out of shape to actually be able to play well...I'm just excited to play again.
And in closing, a plea:
Dear student who will be picking the items for the exam out of the hat,
Please please please pick the ones I know.
