Presidents' Day!!!
In 10th grade, our history teacher gave us a test with the following directions: "Record the first and last names of the presidents in order. Include an important fact about each president." Needless to say, I had to study like a mad man for this test. As Kaylee and I were pretty much the best study partners ever, we spent hours together finding important facts about each president, listening to songs about the order of the presidents, and making up mnemonic devices that would assist us in memorizing all of the (cough..useless..cough) information. I'm proud to say that I got 106% on that test, and that I have never again used that information in my life, unless I've relearned it in different classes. My dad asked Kaylee who #19 was every time he saw her...he probably would still ask her if he ever saw her now. As a shout out to the wonderful holiday coming up, one that is worthwhile mostly because it gives us a day off of school, I will now share with you all of the presidents in order and one important fact about them or their presidency. (Feel free to stop reading now. This whole post is incredibly boring.)

umm...did you just pull this out from your memory? cuz pretty sure even though we did the best studying I have EVER done, it's pretty much all out the window nowadays. Useless. Agreed. But we did ace that beast!
ReplyDeleteHaha, oh #19.
