I never got sick much before. I mean, there was the croup that happened every year (literally, every winter from when I was wearing glasses till Jr. Highish), but once you get used to not breathing, sounding like a seal, and sitting with your face in a humidifier, that doesn't really count as an illness. I can count on my left hand or my broken abacus the number of times I remember having any illness that wasn't croup. But ever since minha gemea left to the land of the tornadoes, I've been as sick as a fragile, hairless cat.
Gross, right?! Anyway, I've just been sick, and my face feels like it was run over by a wagon, and I'm ready for Alyssa and my immune system to come home. At least if Alyssa were here, she'd bring me orange juice. I guess I'll add that to the list of reasons why she should come home in April instead of May (don't worry, Mom, I won't give her the list).

I hope my Sophie is not the cause of your illness. I heard that we kinda got a few members of the fam sick with her barfing at Kim's shower. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteOh don't even worry, it was just a really gross cold, so I definitely didn't get it from Sophie!
ReplyDeleteyuck, yuck, yuck. I have a nasty cold right now too...and it's pretty much the worst. Plus, that picture of the cat is really disturbing. Also: i saw your brother jonathan on a flight to denver the day before thanksgiving. just thought you might want to know. :)
