We were driving down the street. Minding our own business. Talking about whatever, not thinking that we needed to be worried about anything...then we saw it. Or, rather, THEM. A thousand people in black, loitering on the street corners. Holding signs, shouting, pointing, waving, standing in the middle of the crosswalks and medians, yelling, talking, dancing.

Hugging.

Hugging? Are they seriously hugging people? Did that man just get out of his car to give that girl a hug? Literally? Are you kidding me?!?!

A thousand people on a street corner. Giving out hugs. "Free Hugs", "Free hug day", "come get a free hug" their signs said, they said, their shirts said, everything said.

Aren't hugs usually free? Do people go around saying, "hey, you give me five bucks and I'll give you hug?" Would you be a hug-whore if you charged people for your hugs?

Odd thing that happened today. Free hug day. Weird.
