ChristmasChristmasChristmasChristmas!!!!!!!!

I love Winter. I love the snow. I love the cold. And, the best part of winter, I love Christmas. and Christmas Eve. and Christmas Adam. and every single part of Christmas week. This year has been wonderful, just like it always is.

Christmas Eve we hung out in the morning, then went to dinner at Thai Cuisine in Lehi, which is a really good restaurant built in a sweet house. We got some delicious food, and I think I talked more than I ever have in my life during such a short period of time. I made up songs, talked in various accents, and pretended to be someone named either Marsha or Gertrude, I can't remember which, who had pretty much every type of speech impediment imaginable. It was really funny. Following dinner, we visited Ione's sister, went home and got some sweet new pj's that have frogs with santa hats dancing around. Mary even made us incredible night caps out of the same frog material. We watched It's a Wonderful Life like we do every year, had a fire, a Christmas family scripture study, and then retired to our places in the house where we sleep.

Christmas morning the little kids had to let us sleep in until 7:30, and then we all got up and opened presents. It was an "essentials" Christmas, so we got extra soap, toothpaste, shampoo, clothes, etc., which wasn't the most exciting, but it's way nice to not have to buy stuff for myself. In the afternoon time we went to my grandma's stake center (we always have to do family things on holidays there since there are 13 kids in my mom's family) and opened presents, had dinner, and participated in my grandmother's Christmas program. My cousin gave me two books, which is always the best gift for me.

Yay for Christmas!
