Fancy dress, party, 2010

Happy 2010 to the world. Hopefully it's better than 2009. A lot better.

The following is the dumping of my thoughts onto this page. I have no intention of making it coherent or well written. Now that you've been warned, proceed if your soul desires.

This was a day unlike all the other days of my life. I got dressed up. I went to a party. Now, the few people who read this know that I don't do those things. I don't go to parties. I don't like to socialize with large groups of people. I don't like to wear nice clothes. I just like to be comfortable. But, if my friends desire me to do things, I'll generally do it. The Bells and the Julie and the Kyle threw this party on the eve of the new year, and they said to come. and Emily and Julie seemed excited for me to wear the dress, so I said yes. It was a nice party. The decorations were wonderful, the people were funny, there was good food. We went to the Olive Garden before. Bin came with me. Aubrey came for a bit, too, and me, hobbes, and bin did a photo shoot in the lobby. Probably 60 or more people attended. I believe that 60+ people is a well attended party. In the next year, maybe I'll learn to play well with others so I can enjoy myself a bit more. I still found that I had a pleasant evening, even if I didn't converse much with the strangers. So thanks to the friends for throwing the Party. Yes, it does deserve a capital P. Because it was a good one.
